Begining Lectures

Our first introductions to two modules are Digital Media Cultures and Beyond The Camera. Digital Media Cultures was going to be a module that will overall end up us submitting a essay of 2000 words. In our second semester there will be another 2000 word essay but this will be between a group of us, between four. Most of our work on this courses our teamwork. I like working in teams but its nice to see what you can achieve on your own once in a while so this subject gives you the best of both.

Beyond The Camera. In this module it appeared we were going to be learning and using after effects. This felt very daunting to me as I didn’t really use it last year, we just touched on it briefly, but it was a new challenge that I was looking forward to doing. This would involve moving images while including special effects as well. Our first assignment would be to create a single frame composite using Photoshop. This was more of a little reminder for everyone on how to use Photoshop.

Basically that was just a insight of what we had to come from these two new lectures. Looking forward to starting uni again J
